I bought these today and I think one is very versatile due to the color scheme and the other is very nice. However, I dont know what type/color suit, shirt, and ties I would wear them with. Suggestions? Pocketsquareguy? Spoo? You guys are always rockin' those squares so I value your opinion too Cheers

First one is a little too colorful, even for me. I have no idea what I would wear that with.

The Valentino (C21?) I would do with a chocolate brown cord blazer and a pink shirt.

Yeah, I thought it was a little colorful too. It's too late now.

Spoo,

I like your idea!

The second one really has great versatility.
The first one... maybe it could look good with a summer white linen suit, but only if paired with a dark plain tie (or tie less).

The first one ... well ... I'd wear it with a very subdued and conservative outfit ... dark grey or navy blue suit (no pattern or pinstripes), white shirt, plain dark tie ... the sort of thing that cries out for a white linen PS for complete compliance with "classic & dull style" ... but you want to show your flair with a colourful touch.

First one is summery? I think I see what you mean.

Thank you, Doc. I was concerned the PS was a little to "loud", however, I thought it could be a good thing. We'll see how I do.

Cheers

Light (to medium) blue linen suit/jacket would be a great background for it.

First one- for a spring/summer party or an evening out, not for business. Wear with a navy jacket and blue shirt (could do a white shirt) where you need a bit of a colorful accent for fun. Don't have big points, just nice multiple poofs gently peaking out of your pocket. It would be cool to have just a hint of red somewhere else on you, like navy socks with a touch of red, a red lining to a jacket or a navy fabric belt with a red stripe...

Second one- Very mid-80's colors, they seem to cry-out for a modern styled suit, stay away from anything too traditional, perhaps trim cut grey flannel suit, white shirt, with or without a solid black tie. Decorators in the 80's always had these colors playing off greys for the best success.

I wouldnt be able to wear it at work that's for sure. Night out? Sounds awesome. Should I wear a tie? Since you asked about red, how about a red tie? No, right? I love the red striped fabric belt idea though.

I just purchased a new E Zegna milano suit. Milano is as modern as they get for Zegna. Interesting you said a black tie as I would've thought of a navy. Then again, I'm still a newbie. Thanks again.

Yes, a little too colorful but it's too late. Hopefully I can pull it off one day.

Cheers
