I don't think this photo is flattering to either of them. Tom Cruise is leaning toward Katie Holmes, throwing his jacket askew, making his posture look awkward and making him appear broader in the mid-section than he really is.

Katie Holmes is objectively very attractive, but her dress looks terrible. It looks like it's floating on top of her and the skirt poofs unflatteringly.
