Awful picture of a beautiful jacket, but I think it conveys what I'm saying re the quarters.

Thanks for posting and it looks great - have you had alterations done already? I can see how opening up the quarters might be a good thing... will do next time around.

Lastly: thanks for the jackets, Ben! The Zegna/Cucinelli fabric is like soft butter...

Yea the fabric is fantastic. I forgot it was a premium fabric that I paid quite a bit more per metre for, but oh well...

Thanks for your input, and you're right in that a reference for the models on the site is long overdue... just not sure how best to incorporate that although I suppose it can be in more than one place. I guess my only excuse is that I have so many other things going on that I haven't taken the time to do these 2nd tier projects. I have had in mind to incorporate a blog in the site and will probably focus on that as a good place for reference... perhaps later this summer. But thanks for the feedback and the gentle nudge to prioritise this!

Right now we are working on consolidating the same item in different sizes into a single item showing on the site. You will now find this to be the case with all of the Benjamin suits, trousers, and we are almost done with the sport coats, and will start on the shirts next week. You will also see the Sutor Mantellassi shoes in the same format as well - all to make navigating the sight (hopefully) a bit easier.

Ben, the move to consolidate sizes will be very helpful in navigation, thank you!

On the size guide, assuming you specify the exact model on the details for the item, you could get away with just an additional "Sizing" tab, and just dump there the legen for different models, seasons, etc. One can keep the tab open as a reference while browsing the site. Would fix this issue for me, at least.

Looks pretty good for OTR no alterations - what is the tailor doing to it for you?

Also out of curiosity have any of you guys ever had a tailor reshape the quarters for you before? I'm pretty sure it's easy for a tailor to do...

Ben,

I personally love the 3/2 roll, unstructured, half lined, dual vent layout, with patch pockets and a welted chest pocket. Also, I would prefer for the sleeves to be unfinished b/c I prefer all my jackets have functioning button cuffs. I have recently pulled the trigger on a few MTM sport coats through a guy in Atlanta and all have had the specs above and they are phenomenal! It's like I'm wearing another shirt. If you found a fabric like these I would be all over them.

I have a Bella Spalla jacket that, when I tried it on, seemed to have quarters that were too closed along with a waist that was too big. When the tailor took the waist in, the quarters sort of "opened up" on their own. Looks great now!

He's cleaning up the back and taking in the waist just a tad. It may well open up the quarters a little.

Ben,

Not quite related to this recent thread, I just want to say how great your merchandise is and what an incredible value the clothes are. In the past few months I have purchased a Pal Zileri suit, a Caruso/Maco suit, a Lardini fall sportcoat and some Battisti and Borelli ties along with some shirts. Nothing quite like Italian tailoring! The suits are so much lighter than other suits I own which I also love (Samuelsohn etc). You have created something special. Thanks.

I've spoken with the factory and the only change I'll likely be making is making it a 3 roll 2. I am not going to mess with the quarters for this round because that would set us back another 4-6 weeks for this production and I really want to get these deliverable by the end of July.

Quarters or no quarters, I'm probably still in on the brown melange. Thanks for even considering it. Just trying to figure out how it will look as a complete jacket. You don't know of another brand that has used this fabric, do you, Ben?
