Dear all,
Relatively new member in SF here, and would like to seek some advice on my first pair of nice winter boots.
My requirements:
-Lace up high ankle style, either Balmoral or Derby (so no chukkas or chelseas etc).
-Open to all color options, but no contrasting inserts.
-Rubber soled.
-Relatively pointy, elongated last shape (nothing overly round or "fat").
So basically a fine pair of nice dress boots than can be worn casually as well as more formally, on a very sleek elongated type of last.
I had previously purchased the C&J Northcote boots (which is roughly the kind of last shape I'm looking for), but these had to be returned on poor quality control reasons.
Might end up of buying these again but in the meantime could people recommend similar boots that roughly fit my requirements?
I find that most lace up boots I come across look too "rugged" and have a very round and "fat" last shape, or if they do look long and sleek they dont have a rubber sole.
Any suggestions welcome! And thanks!!
