While my question is about running shoes, it also pertains to classic shoes in my opinion. I hope you won't mind me posting pictures as I think they will contribute to this question.

I have bought pair of NB running shoes and noticed that while my left foot feels good, my toe on right foot feels that shoe is tight.
See pictures below I have made as I am curious to hear your opinions:

After a few months of mostly walking in these, the material on the front side where shoes tend to fold became torn a bit thus developing small hole on both shoes.
I bought these from Amazon's subsidiary - MyHabit and surprised they would sell something like this. I accepted 20% refund they offered to me due to problem I initially described but it won't justify my experience. I am also surprised NB being known for their high-quality shoes would sell these.

In the picture the right shoe look smaller so the problem would obviously be there. It could be a printing fault.
