burberry is so expensive because it is worlds 3rd costliest brand in the world and the cloth used is so expensive and they were hand made
Paul Smith is really expensive too. I have to say though manufacturing in Europe or America is crazy expensive, people just don't realize. There's also crushing duties on clothing coming into the states.
TBH I thought much of Paul Smith and Burberry stuff was made in cheap labour third world countries these days, to maximize profits. See also Ralph Lauren. Friend gave me a Paul Smith shirt once, sure it was made here in China.
Different record, mate?
You probably got a Burberry Brit or London from the department store. Both lines are pretty crappy. London has some decent stuff at times, but very overpriced. Brit, besides being overpriced, is just complete ****. The 750 cardigan I'm guessing is Prorsum, which is nice stuff. Not always a favorite because of the military styling on a lot of their stuff but quality I would say is about middle of the road compared to other designers. Also, don't see the point of getting anything else besides coats and jackets from Prorsum.
they purposely make them expensive so that chavs cant afford them anymore
