This happens to me a lot as well, I am always in suits when I go out from work or whatever and constantly get mistaken as an employee. At first I like to think of it as a compliment to how nicely I am dressed but then take offense to think that you would only expect to see the workers in suits and no one else.

I'm a public radio host. I was at the big annual industry conference, and I went shopping across the street. I saw the host of another show from my network, and approached her to say hi. Before I could, she asked me if I carried a shirt in another size. That was embarassing.

Perhaps they just deduce that you are member of teh StyleForvm, and thus, have an intimate photographic knowledge of where toilets and urinals are.
