Where can I get Buzz Rickson shoes? / Paratrooper boots

I'd like to get boots similar to these in calf too, if anybody has any suggestions.

Those boots are exactly what I want, except in smooth leather instead of suede. Cool boots, though.

cool boots. most of the time, the suede boots i see are chukkas or chelseas. this is a good look, especially with denim.

Ah true. I suppose they would be $500 if they were...So were the OG ones real cordovan? They say this about the heel of the shoe, "(the heel) accurately depicts the USMC Cordovan shoe styling"

probably. i think at the time of WWII, or before it, shell cordovan was cheaper than calf leather.

I've always bee fascinated by the Buzz Rickson stuff despite the fact I probably wouldn't wear it. How is the construction quality?
