At the moment, it's probably my Kitchen-Aid coffee grinder, although my Bodum Granos espresso maker is close.

Inside, my lodge griddle - fits eight pancakes, cooks evenly, non-stick. Once the pancakes come off, the eggs go on, and breakfast is ready in short order.

Outside, I have to choose my Tejas Smokers grill, with dual, variable height removable charcoal trays (each with its own door), and enough grill space to fit four slabs of pork spare ribs. Or, around 35 large hamburger patties, with room to move. Double-wall construction so I don't worry about bumping into it and searing my arms or legs. Tall barn-style lid, with enough space to fit two large turkeys underneath. With a large propane burner that attaches to the handle side and a heavy stainless-steel drop-leaf work table on the non-handle side.

+1 on the timer/thermometer

Other than that it is probably the cheap plastic egg slicer

I am with you on the coffee grinder, mine grinds then makes the coffee, all on its timer. Great to walk down to the kitchen and have it already done for me. Like an invisible maid .

What get used pretty much everyday -

Instant read analog thermometer
Victorinox boning knife - cheap, easily sharpened and most all-around useful knife I've found
Anolon santoku w/grantons
Sabatier slicer (Fr. Sab rocks, avoid the Chinese stuff)
