Who here still uses calculators at work? I probably need one a few times a day, so I use the one built into my OS. I can see real numbers people (small-time accountants) still using them occassionally because they need it so often and they're used to it (obviously standard calculators - people with technical careers may need technical calculators when they don't have access to their crazy software).
But I constantly (once or twice a week actually) have co-workers ask me if they can borrow a calculator. They don't seem to understand that their computer is a calculator. So they don't use one regularly enough to need a real one sitting on their desk, yet when they do need one, they go to find a real one rather than using a piece of software. What the **** is with that?
