Try buying a 7.5 shoe in a brick and mortar store. The workers always come back with a size 8 or a 7.5 in a different style. It is impossible for me to buy the shoe I want anywhere else besides online. Fortunately Zappos exists. I can get most of the styles I want.

Sadly so many shoe options stop at 15, leaving me lusting for that last half an inch that is the difference between shoe bliss and crippling pain. Although I will admit it has gotten much easier to find larger sizes in the last 10 years or so. It was harder to find a 14 or 15 in 1995 then it is to find a 16 or 17 now, and that is just in brick in mortar, with the internet it is easy to find something that fits. It might not be exactly what you want, but at least you have some options now.

Ron, you have drawings and measurements of my feet, but for purposes of your poll, I'm a 12A in Alden or AE, with a 3A heel--and I can close the lacing on my Park Avenues in that size while wearing removable orthotics; I can wear some B widths with the orthotics, and some English C fittings (English size 11 or 11.5)

As you know, I'd love to see some real classic variety available to us folks with narrow feet.
