What shoe is comparable to the Park Aves?

Looks like a classic round toe in some pics and an almond toe in others. Are there different lasts?

It is a soft square that reminds of C&J's 337 last in some ways. Here's a better picture:



I've since started polishing them with dark brown polish and like the color much better now.

For $225 shipped, it's in the same ballpark as the Meermin cap toe and the Park Avenue on sale. Quality is about the same as the Park Avenue and, while I don't have any Meermin classic collection shoes, I suspect that too is comparable in quality.

Go to www.meermin.es and take a look at what they have. You can order from the website. I picked up two pair to save on shipping. However, if you're in a hurry Meermin might not be the shoe at the moment as I received an email today from Luisa saying that they're running behind on one of my pairs (not sure which one). Their schedule is usually 30 days.

They have some very nice looking shoes, too bad they're sold out of my size in their entire benchgrade line.
