Ok.....where to start?

The visuals in this movie are incredible! Michael Bay and team did a great job bringing “blockbuster” effects to this Netflix production. Yes, Netflix is basically a studio/production company, but I was still wowed!

Content wise? You have seen this flick before:
Rouge group, each one specializing in a certain skill, get together and try to take down the bad guy(s).

A plan is hatched. Shootouts, car chases and chaos ensue. What I didn’t like was the attempt to portray Ryan Reynolds as a Stallone/Arnold wisecracking type leader. 2 scenes couldn’t go by without him......and the main “underground” members.....attempting to add humor/wit to the dialogue. It got tired real quick.

The 2 female leads......:slayer:!

Overall.....this gets a 1.5/5.

The funny thing is that if I had to sit down today and watch either The Irishman or this again, it would be a tossup.

Watched this yesterday as well - 1.5/5 seems overly generous. While my expectations weren't high (haven't Michael Bay only made one actually good movie?), I wasn't expecting a pile this steaming, probably the dumbest movie I've seen in a while, and that includes the latest Fast/Furious (a franchise this one desperately tries to be like). And could they have come up with a more generic and forgettable title?

Visuals are indeed very impressive, the car chase in Firenze looks very expensive, but filled with tons of collateral damage that's just shrugged off for laughs. All the characters are super bland and undefined and what passes for a story is just jumping from one set piece to the next without any coherent set up - the combination of which makes it very hard to care about anything that's going on.

Oh Ryan wtf were you thinking?

Overall this was the longest, most expensive and least entertaining ad for Aviation gin.

Wow. That is one thing that I forgot to mention when I wrote the review.....and I had it in mind.

The flick is over 2 hours long! I dozed off at the end. They should have cut 30 min easy.

Not sure if Netflix thinks that since people are home, they won’t mind the runtime. I did.

Also, I see a setup for a part 2.....3. Please dont!

This is almost every single Bay movie. The transformer movies were ******* awful. Just complete nonsensical, unintelligible dog ****.

Just started watching that Bay movie. A parkour team member? 15 minutes in and it's awful.

At least it highlights my recent second subwoofer addition. I can feel how bad the movie. I don't know how I enjoyed life before this.
