Wondering what people hold as their 'dream' watch? Let's try and keep this to standard high-end timepieces, and not some limited edition thingy that Patek made 20 pieces of in the late 1980s.

Here is mine - Jaeger-LeCoultre Duometre Chronograph:

PD Simplicity. I've wanted one since college. I hope the man is still alive by the time I finish grad school and start making some money. It's a simple watch, hence the name "simplicity." I've held some of the most complicated watches in the world and at this point my taste evolves to wearing mainly dress watches with simple, legible dial. I currently wear a UN 1846 Chronometer but I would love a simplicity in pink gold. My other passions include FP Journe and Speake-Marin.

I've never been excited by watches.
For whatever reason though I've always loved looking at the simpler models from Patek's Calatrava line.
I'll find a pic shortly.

Watches are very personal. I will never wear a watch that has more than 4 complications. But that just me. And yes, there is a point when too many complications destroy the overall aesthetics of the watch.

looks like there might be more complications in the back...like some high-end VCs.

Yeah, but you will get laid on the spot wearing that watch.

You've got over a thousand posts on a site dedicated to grown men spending absurd amounts of money on tawdry items of personal adornment, and this is the best you can do?
