What is there to do in Paris?

I'm a semi-broke young 23 year old who will be going to Paris for work in a couple of months. I'm wondering if there are any nice refined places to go to in the evening where you don't have to queue like an idiot for hours, no entry fee and where drinks don't cost 20 euros a glass. Any suggestions?

Are there also any notable clothing stores to visit other than Charvet or Hermes?

If I wanted a Hard Rock Cafe I would have booked a flight to New York.

I love Paris. Dress nice and almost every nice restaurant will have a nice bar you can cozy up to. Many Cafe's as well. As for clubs, etc I would not know. :(

Cafés ARE bars, wtf!!??

I think the OP who, judging from some other posts, is either a troll or complete ******* moron, should stay at the Plaza Athénée and go out to l'Arc, it's the kinda scene cretins enjoy.
