Perhaps I am in part reacting to Trad fundamentalist Coolidge openly disparaging those of a Southern pedigree who wore the whale. I suppose I prefer the Perlis crawfish (although I don't own any of those, either).

We have whales, but not Trads.

I think I own 4 or 5 items with pheasant/mallard/duck motifs. My vote goes to "winged fowl."
