The best facial hair growth your genes would allow

Im pretty sure I can have a decent beard since my brother has one. Although my dad doesnt have that good of a facial hair nor does my moms family, actually my moms brother (my uncle) currently been sporting a fairly good mustache

Am I better off using clippers and shave it down to a certain length each time to 'allow' the inbetween hairs to grow or should I just keep shaving it completely?

My facial hair grows very fast but when I was younger (see...16-17) I would just use my hair trimmers to keep it short till everything started filling in.

Good luck becoming a man.

There is some evidence that shaving can induce anagen in mice. But, it's not going to make any long term difference. Testosterone and DHT is what will make it thicker.

dihydro testosterone...It's a metabolite of testosterone that enlarges the prostate, causes male pattern baldness and body hair growth.

FWIW, Tribulus is kinda known for making your hair grow faster. Seems to be all the rage in the big beard competition community. *shrug.

Yeah I found it to be useless for what I bough it for. It did seem my facial hair grew faster on it, as well as developing a bit of road rage during my commute home. That's about it though.

Still, the 1 gram tablets from NOW are so cheap it's at least worth a try.

I take my own little version of ZMA to help me sleep well. Zinc picolinate and magnesium citrate powder. Much cheaper than ZMA, and really just as good.
