What do you think of this wedding band?

While I realize that the choice of a wedding band is extremely personal, I was wondering what the consensus was amongst SF-ers from a style or functinal perspective. I'm mostly in a suit or business casual attire, with jeans and t-shirts on weekends and happy hours... I also usually wear a watch either on a band or stainless, titanium or 18K bracelet. As always, thanks!

Option 1: (which I'm leaning towards)

Option 2: (classic, which everyone seems to have)

As an aside, I'll most likely purchase from a local jeweler.

Depends on how you look at the future wife.

If she's in style right now, but you'll get tired of her in the next few years, then go with option #1.

If you're looking at a long marriage, and she's someone you'll never get tired of or embarrassed to show off to the world, then go with option #2.

Remember that (hopefully) you'll be wearing this ring for the rest of your life. My dad thought the light grey tuxedo that he wore on his wedding day was cool at the time, too. Thankfully he doesn't have to wear it anymore, though.

Gladhands, I totally agree. Probably do 5mm at most, don't want to look like a pirate or anything...

I'd go even plainer - remember the thing has to look good with whatever you are wearing hopefully for many decades - the thing will still show its age somewhat due to the thickness of the band. Think simple honest/direct statement not fashion statement.

I would go with option #1. It will set yours apart for the thousands out in the world that are just boring bands. I can not wait until my 5 year anniversary when my wife said I could get a different style of wedidng band. I got the one she wanted for me and not the one I really wanted. It is OK to be different and have a thicker band. Mine is 9mm and the one I want is a 10mm.

Go simple and plain. You need to wear the thing until you die.
