This is what I deal with when cooking, 2 Newfoundland poodles the height of the countertops that are constantly sniffing and eat any food too close to the edge

I eat some thin slices of the trim or fat that I don't serve, and get full enough throughout the day just from tasting whatever I am cooking. It is nice because 5 days of the week I don't spend money on food, and on a day off like today I eat simple ribeye, spend average 45 dollars/week for myself on food, good tactic for saving funds to explore life in Pacific islands in few months time.

I also devoured most of that turbot from a few nights ago which I bought selfishly knowing I would only be serving a small portion of the total 5 pound fish to dieting woman and weaning daughters with small appetit

I cooked chili with vegan mince, beans and tomato on basmati rice. Nothing too exciting but one of my favorites

Last night, I made more spring roll, spice carrot cake, samosas, roast bird, and yellow daal that looks like excrement but tastes heavenly... then went into the city for "tantric" massage with young Polish girl, the only reason to enter Manhattan, IMO, for good Eastern Euro immigrant "hand" labor.
