    hmmm, there was a place in eden that had some bomb bun bo hue, but it got shut down due to health code violations [​IMG]

    and lets be honest, eden center is shambles...[​IMG]

    I've also been looking for a legit mi quang. Had it at 2-3 places in/near Eden Center -- all were disappointments.

    yeah i only somewhat like mi quang so it really isnt go-to for me. i dont really remember any good places in NoVA, however, just to rub it in, there is this amazingly good place here in milpitas. they make great hu tieu too [​IMG]

    i crock potted a 7lb beef shank in red wine, tomatoes, rosemary and beef stock. was delicious.

    I pressure cooked a 6 lb chuck roll in white wine, tomatoes, beef stock, sachet, and mirepoix. [​IMG]

    Please tell me there were leftovers. [​IMG]

    Had fresh ground pork, mushrooms, tofu, and House brand mabo tofu sauce.

    Last night was home made thuringer sausage, broc in a cheese sauce, and a glass of the wine I posted in the other thread.
