Made a pretty nice prime rib with yorkshire pudding, broccoli & hollandaise, and also made beef gravy and mashed potatoes because too much is never enough.

Austrian goulash (Rindsgulasch). Saw this recipe on Milk Street TV the other day and had to make it. My mom used to make goulash similar to this a ton when I was growing up, but this is the first time I’ve ever made it, and probably the first time I’ve even had it in almost 20 years.

Chargrilled Swiss Brown mushrooms, garlic green chilli. With manchego and fresh mozzarella.

Quarto formagio; fresh mozzarella, goat brie, gorgonzola and pecorino romano.

Washed down with a clean skin Pinot Noir 2018.
