I don't like those at all. I hate when shoe companies try to make their shoes look worn. Why do the toes curl up like that? This style of shoe is done best by Vass and Dinkelacker.

The toe on the actual shoe doesn't curl anything like this one,if it did I wouldn't consider them at all.

They look like 16th century peasant shoes from one of the Brueghel paintings..

They are just awful...

Far superior to the usual Kenneth Cole/Mark Nason duck-billed monstrosities. But they wouldn't be my choice....

I have a pair that I use in the neighborhood around the country cottage in the fall and early spring. The are great for dealing with mud, piles of leaves, are quite comfortable, and are warm. The captoe on mine are a bit less pronounced. The sole is very hard wearing. Overall a good country shoe at a very cheap price. That said, I would be less inclined to use for City wear.
