Hey,
I created a blog for the novice designer at mind. Basically I trace back clothing designs to there original conception and find the design motifs that the designers allude to in there apparel. Check it out, and let me know what you think!.

Your description sounded pretty interesting, but then I clicked the link ...
mini9.jpg
Bape – 17th Anniversy Tee Shirt Worlds collide in this new tee shirt from Bape, in this new age of globalism design collaborations transcend borders, and even death.
The photo links to a page that is empty except for a larger version of the same photo with a form for visitors to add comments. Unsurprisingly, I saw none. What exactly are you aiming for? It seems like you want people to discuss your posted items, but you can't just create a vibrant, talkative community out of nothing, so it seems to me in order to attract visitors you might need some actual content. (N.B. the following gushy generalization does not qualify: "Riding the warm weather into the spring season Beautiful/Decay has just released there spring 2010 collection, which includes this t-shirt. Perhaps the graphics look familiar? If you grew up in America in the late 80’s they undoubtedly resonate.") P.S. At the centre of your homepage is a large flash ad for a one-pill oral yeast infection cure. Is that part of the street cred thing?

Hey man,
Thanks for your reply, but you clicked the wrong link. If you click read more I have a small article referring how Niko has borrowed Andy Warhol signature style and instilled it on his signature logo.
The post is here; http://streetarchaeologist.com/?p=609. Ive been working on my post "hooks", and i have been trying to add some style to them, but yes they are often to superficial. The ads are Google so I have no control over them, but hopefully they will be more relevant.

Id appreciate any comments on the articles themselves, are they to short? How much background information is good? How many pictures? is the premise of the articles confusing?
Thanks!
Alex
