How many forum members like to wear bright color socks with their suits and sports coats.

I personally like to match my socks to either my tie, or dress shirt.

Example would be wearing a double-breasted navy blazer, white linen pocket square, blue Bengal strpe shirt with white
Collar and cuffs, yellow/ burgundy/ navy paisley tie, charcoal gray forward pleated slacks,
Pink OTC sea island cotton socks, and chocolate snuff suede loafers.

What other examples can other members give.

I wear bright socks with a sport coat or blazer, but never with a suit.

I have a pair of Turnbull & Asser socks in a very bright blue that I like to wear. I tend to wear them when I'm wearing a grey suit, generally with a blue shirt or tie. The socks are way brighter than anything else I wear, but no one else sees them, so what the hell!

I really don't like the bright colored sock craze that's been going on with these forums for the past few years. I think they are tacky and look amateurish. It's as if you finally spent some money on nice clothes and are desperate for people to look at you. Not a good look.

But if you're desperate for people to look at you, why choose socks? They are hardly ever seen.

If people are going to look at me, I would rather it was because I was well dressed. If I was desperate to attract attention, I would be wearing loud shirts and ties etc, which would definitely attract attention, but for all the reasons.

People can probably see your socks every time you sit down.

I frequently wear socks in red, purple, pink, lemon or green. Most of the times it is on Fridays. Very occasionally weekdays
