I think the difference lies in the full alpaca lining which is inherently less soft than synthetic, but also warmer and more costly. That iteration with the harley style badge was pretty heavily faked, and while yours looks fine just a word of caution for those trawling sale sites. I think the price difference is only marginally higher for the full alpaca equivalent, which I think was ~190k (albacore variant is 210k now). US retail is killer for most vis pieces.

Great looking jacket Samer.

210k yen is obviously much better than the US price, but still super high. Also, another downside of visvim for me is that its faked. As someone whose not interested in any other brands that are faked there's definitely a bit of stress whenever I buy anything used, which i almost always do since retail is crazy. Am i wrong in thinking you're less likely to get something fake if you buy from yjp compared to ebay or grailed?

Fril is probably the worst

Less likely? Depends on the item, season, and seller. Generally speaking yes, because japan's second hand stores are much larger in terms of high end streetwear and their staff do a good job screening items. However they can still make mistakes and there are still private sellers, and as poster above mentioned fril and mercari can be high risk because there is zero vetting, hence why many proxies or proxy websites won't touch them. Best to just get familiar with common faked items and telltale signs.

it is great but def not retail price great let's be honest. this version can be easily snag brand new for 40-60k on y! which is kinda pricey already (got mine for 55k)..also i hate that they use viscose as lining material, this is a cheap and fragile material, i would have loved the nylon twill on both side, but I guess retail would have a exceeded 200k in this case, so Hiroki chose the cheap ass viscose instead.

I’ve been wanting one for quite a while, looking at alternatives but nothing really fills the gap. The shape is so good though

Saw this on the Insta. I knew the bandana jackets were hype a while back (both Kapital and Visvim versions) but didn't know they had reached the mass market appeal to be done by UO.
