Can he somehow delete it off his Steam account and unassociate it like you can do with Adobe products now?

So I just got a 3d accelerator. Okay, I realize everybody's had one for 10 years or so, but I got one that actually works, and I want to show it off.

What're all the kids playing these days?

I don't think so. Also getting him to do things on his end takes some time, the above process took about a week.

Apparently I have played WoW for almost 2,200 hours. **** me.

Is LA Noire completely open world? It looks kind of linear, and I don't necessarily trust Team Bondi, so I'm waiting for a review or two. Was a Guardian review up but it got yanked before I had a chance to read.

Also: if anyone wants to go in on a copy of Frozen Synapse with me, send me a PM.

I believe the main story is linear although from the gameplays I've seen that it could lead you to different places, like watching the facial expressions and deciding whether the person was lying or not, each decision might bring you to different places, clues or witnesses. Not sure if it will lead to the same ending though. One thing I read though is that it is still a sandbox game, pretty similar to Red Dead Redemption, and that there are a lot of side quests. Reports are the main story alone is at least 30+ hours long to complete and could double or triple to complete all the side quests.

Recently completed Portal 2—I think it's a good game, but it had some flaws I would like to point out. Storyline is a little obvious, though not dull. All it is a glorified puzzle game, a good one, but just with good graphics. Those aside, I think the graphic engine they used is impressive as, even on a low-end PC, you still get great looking visuals! Overall, I would give it an A- borderline A. As for my end of year list, I doubt it will make the top ten, but it will be very close! Who knows, it could creep in? Really looking forward to L.A. Noire—looks very promising! Also, Duke Nukem! *duh!

That's funny--I thought the Source Engine looked a bit old on the 360. The lighting has improved but the textures are rough. Graphics don't really matter to me, though.

Thoughts on the writing? I thought it was brilliant, to be honest.

Update on the Playstation Network. As of yesterday, the store is still down. Not a huge deal, but I hope they get it back up soon. Plus I noticed that the online aspect on some games still seemed to be having issues. I couldn't fully activate my Mortal Kombat online pass and had to sign up for the free trial instead. Seems like no one was online playing the game so I think they are not fully up yet.

I dunno, Peter Merchant was on the fence funny/annoying. I'm siding funny, though. It was a fun game, there were tough patches where I couldn't figure out what to do, and there were easier parts. I downloaded a rip for the PC so maybe that's why the graphics were better? Still kinda similar to the first, I guess? Think it will have a massive fan-boy base, but it's not a 'classic' for me.

Demon's Souls was my favourite from last year. Wrote a list on my blog:

1. Demon’s Souls
2. Super Mario Galaxy 2
3. Red Dead Redemption
4. Sid Meier’s Civilization V
5. Minecraft Alpha
6. Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty
7. Call of Duty: Black Ops
8. Battlefield Bad Company 2
9. Mass Effect 2
10. Halo: Reach

Best expansion packs:

1. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
2. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II—Chaos Rising
3. Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
4. Fallout: New Vegas (**** if anyone's gonna tell me this is a stand-alone game!)

I need to get back into playing Starcraft 2. Love the game, but I never seem to be able to invest enough time to keep up with all the latest strats. Also hoping they announce the first expansion soon. Can't wait to see some new units.

I can't wait for Starcraft: Ghost to come out.
