What do you guys think about this model? Would anyone be interested in something similar for a groupbuy? The groupbuy version would be something with less branding and no tonal details at all--a completely blacked out boot. Possibly a sleeker wedge-style sole and no buckle if possible.
Interesting, but I've already promised a Derby next. If there is overwhelming support, I might reconsider a second model.

It's just a thought... Perhaps the shaft could be a tad higher as well. I was thinking that something with a black leather a little more eyecatching (perhaps edge-dyed chromexcel, horse butt, or some sort of suede/roughout), and all black details could make a really nice boot. Even the regular-height Engineer boot could look good, but I especially like the short-shift's vamp/quarters/heel counter design compared to the traditional heel counter and pull tab.

That boot as of now is about one chromosome away from pushing viberg into some avant garde ****.

At that point, might as well go full-in for side zips right? heh heh...

Good to hear that the derby is still in the works (was the one used as an example in the previous group buy the one you were going with?)
