Viberg uses brass nails, so they don't 'eat' or rot the leather. Do you guys ask your cobbler, when repairing, to specifically use brass rather than iron nails, or do you not mind?

Brown Butt (of Horse) Bobcat Boots for day 1/5 on the self imposed Viberg / PNW / Horsebutt week.

Got my 145s in from the rivet & hide MTO. Ordered mid brown waxed flesh and suede in same style with moreflex soles as well as these, but saving those for spring. These are 1035 last Horween dark waxed flesh. Built like tanks but work well with 25oz iron hearts! Had heard MTOs usually went wrong somewhere but all three pairs were perfect. Viberg (Ryland) was on it every step of the way.

Uggh. Time I get back on the horse and wear mine again. I got stuck in the city wearing them the other week and spent a solid 12 hours on my feet. My ankles were in agony by the end. And still, even though I’m on my third wear, yours look more broken in.
