I like the profile view of the 2055 last, but its a bit too wide from the top down view for my personal style. Like that S&S is throwing some new soles into the mix, probably makes for a very comfortable casual boot.

Agree on the S&S makeups being really nice. Can confirm that the Vibram 430 sole they use is very comfy, might have to pull a @smartbrother, and resole my Miloh Mushrooms when they arrive from commando to the 430. Also, hope Miloh's Mushroom run is less green than the S&S ?.

Agreed those appear very green. Reportedly you can use neatsfoot oil to make it look more like the "original" mushroom.

Viberg Oxfords would be a perfect shoe if they didn't weigh 1000lbs. Made them unwearable for me. Wish they were lighter.

You arnt wrong. Once you put on a pair of lightweight shoes like unlined Dover’s or something you really realize how freaking heavy some of these makeups are.

I can't stand light footwear anymore except for maybe summer loafers. I like a good solid supportive piece under my feet.

Vibergs also have super heavy boots in their workboot lines. Whites and Nicks, both out of Spokane, specialize in serious firefighter boots, though at least Nick's (you can check their thread hereL https://www.styleforum.net/threads/nicks-handmade-boots-official-affiliate-thread.663703/page-6 at least is doing a "fashion line", but just the shank and reinforced toe on a real workboot is going to make them weigh a lot more than for a fashion equivalent.
