What would a "ton" of length constitute? An inch and a half or two inches plus? I'm trying to nail down my 1035 size too and I size down 0.5 from Brannock for 2030. Definitely have some left over length but doesn't seem uncomfortable and the arch support seems to line up pretty well
Take the same size in 1035, you’ll have slightly more width

I know the temptation. Rivet and Hide doesn't stock 11.5 and I've been tempted to just get an 11. But ultimately I wouldn't reach for it bc 11.5 is much more comfortable.

I live in Seattle and Division Road finally has some 1035 last Bergs one size down from my brannock so maybe I'll take a trip downtown and try 'em on and see how they fit.

Oh definitely take advantage of that resource. You should have no trouble dialing in your size there.

Well Divison Road recommends a full size down from Brannock on all Viberg lasts.

Heel to toe? Or heel to ball? I was surprised Viberg doesn't even bring a brannock to their MTO events.

Ideally once you can try on shoes in multiple sizes, the wearer can decide what feels best for them, rather than relying on what has worked for other people.

I don't remember them clarifying, but completely agree that the best way to figure it out is to try on multiple sizes.

I size 1/2 down from my brannock size. I tried 1 full down on my first purchase and it was too tight. I think it’s ymmv in general

What are people's recs for Viberg retailers in LA? I'm planning to check out 3sixteen, I forget whether there are others.

Also, if we're doing sizing, I think it depends partially on how you feel about how footwear "shapes" your toes. I like 0.5 down from Brannock on 2045 with thick socks, but the same size in 2030 was a non-starter due to toe pinch.

Just worked with Kevin from DR to nail down my Viberg size in the 1035. Ended up with 1.5 sizes down from my Brannock (just barely a 9, D/E) - a 7.5. Probably fine for the 2030 too, but I'm using an 8 currently.

Sounds right: I’m a 8.5 and wear a 7 Viberg on 2030/ most lasts. My SS petrol pair are 7.5 because I was kind enough to let my brother in law take the 7, but with an added Insole they fit perfectly.

Hmm interesting, do you all have higher volume/ high insteps or low volume/ low insteps?
