I can't say, but I find it intriguing how German tailors will pad the shoulders of a vest with twelve layers of padding and also use concrete for a canvas.

It's more accurately a Chan-does-Reeves project. I'm directing Chan to implement my own suit design that copies, but does not mimic, the Reeves divot. It will no doubt be different from the original, but I'm sure it will be just as good in every way. Others may have failed in the past, but they weren't sartorial enough to ask for an extra fitting and make an Excel spreadsheet, like I did.

I'm wondering how hard it will be to coordinate all this--but then, I suppose the important thing is that the trouser and vest are being made by the same tailor.

Those are really "you love or you hate it".
Power to them though, they were really easy about my dislike of their "signature shoulders" and they make wonderful stuff without puff sleeves.

Manton, I presume Leonard Logsdail is the front runner to do the vest and pants in NYC...seeing how you once posted that Logsdail made you the best fitting vest.

I just gave the whole length to Mina. She said she could do it. If it looks terrible, I'm out E 250. Not the end of the world. Cheaper than it would have been in New York.

Wait, I thought this was a foothreak™. Or did you just do the whole foo cycle in one thread? From obstinate single-mindedness to sending it back to Naples for recutting in one swell
