I'm in my mid 20's and heading out to Vegas with a couple of friends at the end of August. It's my first time going out there and I know it doesn't really matter to much what you wear during the day to the pools/casinos (Just some khakis or board shorts and a t shirt) but I'm planning on heading to a club on Thursday while we're up there (probably Pure, any suggestions?) and was hoping to get some help with what to wear (i.e. so I don't have any problems with dress code)

I was going to go with this:

American Eagle Striped Button Up Untucked (no undershirt?)

Express BLAKE BOOT CUT JEAN - DARK FADE

Questions
I'd like to buy a nice pair of dress shoes to go with this but am a little lost on what type of dress shoes would go nice with jeans. I'd like to keep it under 150 bucks for the shoes and prefer something that is black and that I'd also be able to use for work afterwards (business casual, kahki pants or slacks with polo or button up). Can anyone give me some examples??

On another note I want to buy a nice watch. If you have any suggestions please let me know. I'd like to keep it under 300 bucks (but willing to spend up to 500)

Thanks for your help,

Haha,

Well apparently I need help.

Thanks phoenix I'll look into the stowa watches, any ideas on improving my choices?

Ugh, so the label makes that much of a deal. I actually like that shirt

Oh well so what clothes are "vegas friendly"

Apparently Express and AE = Bad

What about shoes?

Thanks for any help

A stowa and shoes like EG's or C&J's would look hella weird with your AE clothes. Just get some square toed Kenneth Coles and a knockoff Rolex and call it a day.

maybe a boardie who lives in vegas should help you shop while you're out there

Dude...the only dress code you need to worry about is: Dollar Bills. Honestly, Vegas isn't about exclusivity. It's about looking the part of blowing tons of money. So the middle age man dressed like a computer nerd will essentially get in. Always be prepared to pay an extra 20-50 to get by the line...

On that note - I would opt out of the clubs - drinks are like 12-15 a piece. You know what else is around that price? Lap dances. 20 dollar lap dances from the hottest ladies in the United States. The Rhino ftw!

you can search this forum or the affiliates shops and get something leaps and bounds better than what you posted.

And the whole watch thing - I would spend more time researching and browsing for watches rather than asking people. A watch is a very personal thing.

I would never buy a watch just for an outfit.

It does sound like you want a loud/sleek-looking watch. Those you can buy cheap - fashion watches.

I hope I didn't misread your watch intentions. Take a look at seikos and citizen - great price points.

True, I just wanted to get some ideas on good brands that I should look into that are in my price range.

Watch isn't for the outfit, just want a watch, figured I'd just ask for some advise on watches well I was posting my question about what to wear to vegas. I should have been more clear.

Thanks,

you can see the girls before they move to LA and become adult actresses, and get a shot at being interviewed on "before they were pornstars"

I stopped going to those on vegas trips a while ago. Rhino is much better elsewhere
