Vanson Model A vs. Schott 141/641 (for taller motorcyclists)

I've seen some discussion of this topic on this forum, but I'd like to revive the question in hopes that some taller motorcyclists will have insight. I need a leather jacket for cold weather motorcycling and am interested in the Vanson Model A and the Schott 141L. I'm 6' tall, 175 lbs., with a 33" waist, long arms, and a long torso. I almost always wear a size 40L suit jacket. I've tried on the Schott 141 in size 42 regular, but even with a very thick sweater underneath it was too roomy in the chest and shoulders, and definitely too short at the waist. I'm guessing the 141L in size 40 would do the trick. Do any taller riders have experience with this long version of the 141? I'm also wondering if any taller riders have the Vanson Model A, and how you find the length? None of my local dealers carry these jackets, so I can't try them on. Thanks, Jeff

Vanson makes top-notch leather but I think the model A cut quite short. I would look at the model B or try calling Aero Leather in Scotland. Aero will custom fit at no additional charge.
