Trouble finding brooks brothers shirts to fit and need blazer advice

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forums looking. I have a few questions if someone does not mind helping:

1. For some context, I body build for fun; therefore, I have large arms, wide shoulders, thick chest, and a small waist. I have to purchase shirts large enough to fit the large muscle groups resulting in the waist of the shirt growing as well. As you can imagine wearing a large waist shirt with a small waist, I have a ton of shirt to tuck in resulting in the shirt flaring out in the back. It looks horrible. I am assuming the only route around this is getting a shirt custom fitted by BB. Is this true? If so, how expensive are shirts when you get tailored? Should I go to my local BB store or go to Manhattan for the digital tailoring (is the digital tailoring worth it)? Another thought is to take all my shirts to a local tailoring shop and have them take the waist area up. Advice, please. I also struggle with the pants with the thighs. I am having to get order wasit 38 to get leg size then have the wasit tailored down. Is all this normal?

2. What is a good BB blazer for winter to wear with jeans or khaki pants (I’m thinking navy color and no gold buttons and cheaper the better)?

Thank you for viewing.

We can't know if what you are syaing is normal since you don't tell us yuor measurements.

Anyways, getting made-tomeasure from BB is expensive and there are cheaper options online.

The cheapest way is just to have a tailor take in the waist. It is a simple alteration and costs about $15 per shirt.

I have trouble finding BB clothes that fit too because they're suits/shirts fit like sacks. I stopped buying from them. Good luck. Hopefully, someone can help you out.

Lol, a sack is a good description. Thank you for commenting

Thank you for your advice. This whole fashion thing is new to me. All I know is I have a ton of shirt to tuck in and flares out like something crazy in the back. Thank you again.
