1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

TY to whoever banned Glados at last. He was getting extremely tiresome.

Wish I knew whose fist was up his ass.

ATC has gone too far. I mean, making fun of/using as a talking point the suicide of a man's son is low. http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...=158823&page=4
My first thought (before reading the posts in question) was, "well, it was sort of low for that kind of terrible tragedy to be brought up in a CE thread in the first place," but then actually seeing ATC's post... yeah, i agree. That guy is a moron and infects every thread he enters with asshattery. Too bad he doesn't have a pithy screen name, because I think Aperipanism has a new rival.

I sort of liked having all the real douchebags being lefties. Between glados and Cashmere, I was putting the final touches on a SF-mods-are-liberally-biased screed.

I don't for a minute believe A2M and Cashmere are the same guy, though.

I don't remember, but the one who most people seem to think is, is not. Believe it or not, there are many, many people in this country with the same viewpoints and attitude as him.

I'm surprised they weren't the same person. I kind of wish they were. It makes me a little sad to know that there is more than one person who acts/thinks like that.

Indeed. Whoever he was, he won't be missed.

Speaking generally, I would agree, but they were both just awful. I can deal with a troll, and I'll even feed them from time-to-time (see: coldarchon), but those two were intolerable.

I thought for sure A2M and ATC were the same person. They were just so similar in every way.

The pendulum has swung but the stupidity stayed constant.

Oh for eff's sake, why was that squirreled? It's not exactly as if the SF GLBT crowd wasn't joining in the fun.

Inner Circle? Man, that would be a great name for a bar.

    Any kind of bar.
