I'm going to take pictures so you can see the wear/scuff marks. Nothing too serious. This is what they looked like on another bag:

They're noticeable from casual observation, but they are pretty much limited to the leather on the top of the bag. I think some of them could be polished away if you were concerned about that. I think it adds a little character to mine, to be honest. The blue part is (I believe) suede leather that is made to look like corduroy. It's very cool. There's a small amount of sticker residue on one spot which I'll try to get off before taking pics.

Also, the bag looks pretty small in that first picture, which is a trick of the camera. It's a nice size.

The top has a double zipper (through which a small lock could be passed), and a metal frame underneath the top leather parts next to the zipper. There's an outside pocket behind the Trafalger logo, and two inside pockets, one of which can be zipped.

I bought one of these bags from Chorse, and it is a tremendous deal! The bag is very well made, comes with a nice shoulder strap, excellent hardware and even a storage bag (at least mine did).

It makes you want to go someplace just to bring the bag along. Ideal for carry on (too nice to check)

This is just way too true. I just found out I'll be going to Philly next weekend and I'm almost more excited that I can use my bag than I am about the trip. It is really fantastic.
