That would be so cliche.

I have known dudes throughout my life who refuse to eat vegetables on their burgers, or in general; those guys pack some insane levels of testosterone and **** girls from 50 foot away, live their life at hyperspeed, but still, I can't take that **** seriously. Burgers get lettuce and tomato as a rule, to demarcate the sandwich itself, add texture, give bitterness and acidity to cut through the meat umami and fat, and keep the bun well insulated from disintegrating before the last bite.

That is a very late 20th/21st century burger - i.e. a meal within a bun. I don't even know how people have room for fries and a drink with those things, but they're definitely what gives burgers a bad rep and has them on again, off again.
To me, I'd obviously sell a double or a triple, but an archetypal burger is the classic single cheese, bacon optional, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup and mustard/mayo (choose one) on a squishable bun.

If it were within regulation to pump the exhaust vents from the grill onto the sidewalk with delicious grilled onion, beef, and bacon smell, I'd offer those in an instant. (0)

BTW has anyone heard of the $5000 burger in USA. It's called the Hubert 5000 and it's in a restaurant in the States (obviously), created by the chef Hubert Keller. He usually does classic french food.

If anybody aspires to the same (plus getting oil money) they should get at me

How about a TOJ anniversary burger? :p
