You could be right, it's hard to tell.

Can you give me a link to the article? To be honest, I kind of like this look.

He looks put together but it is too much of a mix for me. Either nix the zip up (from Macy's) in this context or find a different collar, IMO. Here is the link.

Now to be fair, it's not just KC and AE's R&D dept that are producing bicycle toes. Here are three Loakes:

The last shapes help those. And the unique perfs on the AE above are interesting. It is the abominations like these KCs that I see paired with suits in Vancouver a dozen times per day:

Exactly. KC would manage to make ugly shoes even if they didn't have bicycle toes. It seems to me that bicycle toes are only suited for a chisel-toe last, as the lines can elegantly meet the corners of the toe. KCs and AEs also often have raised or prominent stitching:

...which, IMO, makes more classic designs like norwegians look just as bad:

In theory, I believe bicycle toes should narrow and elongate the appearance of the foot. Here are some more non-strawman examples from Cheaney:

Lots of people who ride in the city. I use clipless (the kind with cleats) but toe clips are still safer if you're in heavy traffic, IMO.

What's worse was those bicycle-slash-bowling shoes mutant abominations they were selling years ago.
