I think ecru and light green shirts are quite difficult to wear with a suit. Ecru works much better as a button-down and that particular green looks sickly on my screen. Frankly, I would look at some different shirts.

You're going to catch a lot of flack because you're looking at items from Men's Warehouse.

The shirts don't look terrible, but at that price point, you could afford something much nicer. Check out Lands End, JCrew, or Brooks Brothers on sale. They will probably serve you better.

I'm just using these pictures to show the colors I like. I'm not interested in purchasing from them.

I agree.

Are you looking to wear these for business? If yes then I agree twice.

Yes I am looking for business. This is my first job where I have to wear something other than jeans and a golf shirt

I'm trying to expand my wardrobe. I have black, grey and navy suits. Any other color suggestions for shirts and ties?

If its for business, stick with a crisp white shirt, those examples resemble something grandpa would wear.

I have whites and blues, which are considered to be the "business norm", correct? Are there any other colors I could get away with?

Wouldn't be my preference, either. But if you really do love the colors, I would say the ecru could be worn well with a navy suit for a more relaxed look than white shirts would provide. I'm not a certified expert on tie-matching, but something like the following combination seems to work. Attachment 40597 (ignore the crappy photoshop, missing knot, etc) Again, I think it would look sharper with a white shirt, but there it is, a rough idea... I think you could pair the green with either a charcoal or light gray suit.

Move on to stripes or gingham or something if you have white and blue. Pink is good also.
