You mean people make things that aren't worth their asking price?

Derp $150 is too much for A.P.C. cause who spends that much on jeans when you can buy 501's STF super cheap and then replace them when they break! Derp

Some people are willing to pay those prices. Get over it and move on.

You're not paying for quality, you're paying for props.

Just kidding kinda. There is definitely a marked difference in durability between brands, but I think the high premiums come when a piece is both of high durability and also detail (cuts, stitching all that ****). Or if a piece is exotic enough in design that it warrants a price premium. There's def a time and place. I do find it goofy though when props are heaved upon a jean + tee outfit though where the brands are what people love the most.

I don't see this happen. People judge jeans and t based on fit. When someone posts a bad Dior fit, people will say that it looks bad. And they will also call the poster an idiot for paying Dior money for a bad fit.

Nope, only very specifically focused brands (outdoor, tech, sporting, maybe some workwear) give two ***** about durability. Most premium/designer stuff is very fragile.
