• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

Lapels are useless. Best to remove those as well.

I've seen DB jackets w/o them - just the four around the stomach area - Hugo Boss did that a few seasons back. A little more contemporary and a little less classic, but whatever floats your boat.

The DoW wss about a 37S. I saw his clothes at auction in the late 90s.

He's using a successful ploy to look a bit taller, unless you see him in relation to any other European adult male.

On a well designed coat, the buttons are placed in relation to each other, whether it's a 2/1, a 4/1 or a 6/2 or whatever.

Taking the buttons off the OP's coat may have the undesired result of making him look a bit "top-heavy,' at least in the eyes of his fellow iGents.

He's actually got the opposite problem. Thom Browne pull is too little light fabric. The DoW has a loose enough jacket, but because he hasn't buttoned the inside button, the jacket is sagging in such a way as to pull on the button. If he took a second to smooth out the jacket, it would go away.

I though razi was referring to the other man.
