Did a flight attendant come over? I'd be very surprised if they let him get away with taking up a whole bin like that for a suit bag. I've many times seen attendants tell people they can't do that and move the bags.
She came over, but did nothing. I couldn't believe it.

My bags were in a bin so it wasn't an issue for me. And, yes, I had two bags in a bin because I was sitting in the first row where a bag couldn't be stored under the seat in front of me.

If I hear another person say "sage on a stage" I am going to lash out.

I boarded a full flight Saturday when after me a guy placed a suit bag in an overhead bin and told people to not put anything on top of it. Someone did and he threw a fit until they removed the bag. His stretched out suit bag took up lots of space and caused a few folks to check their luggage. I was disappointed that the attendant DID NOT PUNCH HIM IN THE BALLS.

Philosopher on display.

It is a silly way to describe people who teach by lecturing rather than by sitting around in a circle and talking about the material that the students were supposed to have read. In education circles, you always hear the admonition "don't be the sage on a stage!" And I'm always like "Shut the hell up, I'm not going to get in a circle with my students and chat about the Critique of Pure Reason because they will never come within a country mile of understanding it if I do such as that." (Usually the people in education circles do not understand what I have said because it was a full sentence, and not a slogan or buzzword.)

I prefer law, I'm definitely the sage on a stage at trial. ******* juries don't talk back to me, just listen up.

The safety briefings on airplanes are way too long. I mean, the FA is a regular sage on a stage up there at the front of the plane

She should at least ask you for your opinion on the safety instructions. How do you feel about them? Did you grow as a person from hearing them? Did you advance in your spirit quest?

Don't planes have closets for suit bags?

Also pretty sick today. Fever, chills, body ache, headache, joint pain, super fatigued, extremely irritable, constant coughing. I feel like I'm wading through water whenever I move. I feel like being a dick to everyone
