Way too much stress in my life right now.

House is not completely finished but we are pushing to move this week anyway so we can be in for Christmas... as we have offered to host Christmas Eve for both my family and the in-laws... which will be a bit like having the Montagues and Capulets for a dinner party. Nothing is packed, and even if it were, we could only move boxes into the basement at this point as the floors will not be ready til Tuesday for furniture moving. Wife is feeling ill and can barely even deal with the 2.5-year old, who seems just now to be hitting her terrible twos stride. So it is left to me to pack, mind the child, move boxes, oh and also wife has now decided we need a new washer and dryer so I have to deal with that, too, in the next 8 hours. Further, the move is finally forcing certain decisions about what comes with us and what gets sold/trashed as the new house is dramatically aesthetically different and aesthetics are something we never agree on anyways. Add to that just the stress of finishing the work year and all the demands on my time from that, plus a few holiday obligations, and I really don't know how the F I'm supposed to get all this done.

Brother, you need to throw some money at these problems. Not sure what you could implement, but perhaps contract out child care to nanny for a couple of days, definitely hire some movers, and get some catering action going on for X-mas eve.

Hope you are able to successfully navigate everything.

I guess I'm not to the level of pissed, but I am taking the day off tomorrow and will be running errands and doing chores all day. And, oh yeah, I have to put in an appearance at the office just to call into a meeting that apparently couldn't be scheduled for any other day this week.
