i'm assuming you've never seen a yohji fit here?
Aren't those cut differently and tapered as well? These look like pinstripe dress pants.

browse through the yohji thread dude, generally you'll see a lot of wide hems on dress pants with little or no taper. manofkent's fit evokes that same loose fit without actually wearing any yy or looking too dark which i think is cool.

Even after exposure, it's possible not to like something favored by esoteric Japanese fashionistos. It's odd, but it's possible. I don't understand it, but it does happen.

Man of Kent, that is one of the best summer fits I've seen, the clean white shirt and wide trousers are fantastic. Love the buckle details on the hems. Just a wonderful silhouette overall.
I personally like untucked, fuller cut pants and a fedora can make the fit look a little stuffy, untucking looks more comfortable and casual.
