Sup mainy! :fistbump:

Love the jacket. I feel it might be maximized by some sleeker boots or perhaps some baller sneakers, though that could just be my OCD talking.

prurient is the most slept on dude in sw&d. Always looks comfortable. He's the guy most "menswear casual" dudes want to dress like but fail at miserably. Also, beard.

I like the layering on that mc casual pic. I do agree that its maybe not the most natural setup--something is off--but it's a nice attempt at a C-Forest outfit. What is it that's off?
I feel it but can't identify it.

Looks very natural Gnatty to me.

I'm one of those guys that has good intentions but just can't seam to pull it together. I think it's because I don't have the balls to go for it. I tinker and fail every time. :embar: I'm also still dealing with my summer love affair with raw denim which creeps into all my fits.

My issue was the denim shirt, but only because I thought it was a denim trucker jacket because I was looking at it on my phone. Now that I see it's just a shirt, ****'s all good. Nice fit.

Coat is Ercoles, vintage overcoating from 1930 and my own design. Reco on boots?

Nice! Fantastic job on the coat.

You look like you are about to step off the train in Dr. Zhivago. I'd like to see you compliment that with some military inspired or at least rugged pants and boots. They don't have to be combat boots. Some of those more rugged models in the White's thread would look kick ass. Just anything that makes me believe you are ready to tramp through the snow and put a bullet in a liason's back. The stacked raw denim cuffed over those boots is giving me doubts.

Tough love: Usually I think your fits are pretty boring. You have your own style and you seem content with it. It's very consistent. Soft "old man" cardigan over an epaulet shirt with cuffed raw denim and dress shoe/boots. It's really not my thing, but it does give off this very "I can trust this guy" vibe, which is great for a teacher, a friend, a boyfriend, etc. Not everyone needs to look like James Dean. But you've got a window here into what the next level could be if you ever wanted to take a day off from professor trustworthy and be the guy that blows people away.

I'd wait for smashwindow to chime in with the "hipster" label because of that flannel, but I think he said he was going to county, so this rests squarely on the broad shoulders and short legs of elisix.*

*I have no problem with the flannel and greatly miss my black and blue buffalo check flannel.
