Dirty those Chucks up, too. Box-fresh Chucks or Chuck-a-likes just don't look right. It almost projects an image of jumping on a trend, as silly as that sounds when referring to such a timeless shoe. Point is, anything resembling a Chuck has more character once it looks like it's been through some wild times.

I agree that Chucks look a lot better when their dirty, but I wouldn't want to just take them outside and throw some mud on them.... I'll wear them to a lot of shows and bars and let it come naturally

What's your opinion on polos? Do you think they all look terrible?

I don't think that polo is terrible, but I don't like them in general and most on SW&D think that way. I think the hair + sunglasses is the worst part of the fit and would look better with boots or other leather shoes instead of brand new chucks.

Yes, I am actually. If I have to, I only wear three-piece suits, no matter how hot it is. And no it does not make a difference ARE YOU SERIOUS??

Polos can be good when you need some type of collar to layer underneath something.

most of the time they're lame though, and have pretty douchey associations. Not a complete write-off though.

I'm not a big fan. And this coming from a guy who owned at least 10 polo shirts at age 19. Solid polo shirts are better than any striped variation. But even those take the right physique to look good. It doesn't look like you have it. Don't worry, most don't. Even skinny guys don't look quite right with them. A guy with a big drop and trim mid-section is best suited for polo shirts.
