The uniqlo shorts are actually a white/blue micro-gingham that never shows up in photos unless they are closeups. I keep meaning to get them hemmed a couple inches shorter but I've just never gotten around to it. I probably also swore at some point that I'd never wear sockless loafers but it happened, so oh well. it was pretty hot in Monaco this day.
