Yea the double cuff is not a good look. I realize that now. I'll probably get them hemmed because they're entirely too long.

Yea the sleeves are def. long. I think you've got my build right too. I'm not exactly fat, but I've got pudge and I'm pretty straight up and down. I gotta lose some weight b/c I've been running into many shirts fitting well everywhere else but the arms.

Looking for a pair right now. Thanks!

Yea I need to shed some pounds. I was much heavier than this at the beginning of the summer, and I've lost a lot of weight playing football (soccer) but I need to lose more. And I need to start hitting the weights and not just doing cardio and footy. I've got a ton of **** in my closet that fits like potatoes sacks now as it is lol

Thanks for the feedback all!
Well, congratulations are definitely in order for making a change - it's always hard to take a first step. I'd keep those potato sacks around for a bit for motivation, and definitely hold off on purchasing until you're happy with your body. Shirts can always be tailored, cheap pants can always be found. There's no reason not to take advantage of that stuff while you're dropping weight. Speaking of weight, lifting weights is really going to help you out - and you don't need to do much. This page is posted around here a lot as a general starter guide, and if you hang out in the health + body subforum there are a lot of other users who will be able to give you good advice: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?p=401681611#post401681611 In my experience, clothing really can't cover you up if you feel uncomfortable in your own body. You seem to be confident and happy with what you've accomplished so far, which is a very good thing - but the feeling of taking your clothes off, looking at yourself, and thinking "ugh" is definitely a bad one (I'm not saying you should feel this way now, just that it's something you can overcome). This is pretty much a tangent now, but get the body you want, whatever it may be - rugby player, footy player, linebacker, whatever - and then buy clothes that fit it. And just so you don't get worried before you start, this forum is really geared much more towards fit guys wearing slim clothing than rail-thin models wearing runway gear. We have both, but you'll definitely have plenty of resources if you're the former.

I'd advise spending the extra minute to do a self timer shot. Not sure if this has been addressed previously or not, but this photo makes you look dwarven. Doesn't help that you're covering half your face, and neck with arms that look very disproportionate. Again, probably just the mirror/angle, but I'd re-do.

Desi, that fit is excellent. I think (and I may draw some ire for this) that it'd look great with a pair of elaborate sandals. But maybe not, who knows.

yeah, would work with sandals too.

Is there any way I can tailor the shorts to make them passable?
Also, can I ok the shoes?

I would roll up the shorts a little. I found that it helps a lot if the short fits a little big. Not a big fan of driver mocs but those are ok. Still some penny loafers would did it good.

I usually roll the shorts, but it doesn't work with these. Hopefully I'll be able to find a tailor that isn't too resistant to slim fit
Pennies are still in my "to buy" list.
Thanks for the advice

That's an awesome fit Kgmessier. One day I'll get the confidence to wear white pants

Here's my first ever effort in the WAYWT thread. Long time lurker of the forum. I used to go through this thread during my Geology lectures last semester lol (last seat in the back with a computer angled towards the wall FTW). Made an account last night and finally decided to post. Would love some criticism. I'm down with a baptism by fire so rip me apart if you feel the need to. Off to lunch with a friend (D.C. Restaurant week woooo!):

Zara/Unbranded/Magnanni
lol I have the shirt in blue, have it tailored. It clashes with the jeans, which are extremely traditional looking. White pants are your only option.
