Ironically, it is my daily driver.Very nice! I didn't remember that you had one of those in your collection. Looking good!
DavidSW has one right now.
Thank you!
I hadn't noticed this before. I wonder if that's the preowned one the OP was referring to. Makes me feel pretty good about what I paid for mine and to see what they are going for. Cheers!
Dunno, but he has one new and one pre-owned so he could go any direction he chooses.
I wishing you all the best with the new VC and hope you enjoy it! Congrats! So I was looking at both the used & new one. I decided against the used one as unfortunately it had a very small ding in the bezel. The new one is only $500 cheaper than the boutique price. I'm going in a different direction as I'm still not paying >$22,000 for a watch that I'm not 100% certain about! (the dial is not as blue as I'd like)
I have a new VC incoming tomorrow, will share pics!
Not a watch, but a watch book!!
Fellow SF member and now my main man in real life, @BenLeaman,gifted me that bad boy today. He knows I enjoy my little watch library and killed it with this addition.

Congrats!!! Its always important to have a good watch library. I have lots of books, watch annuals, and a ton of catalogs.
With the catalogs its fun to see what the companies were offering years ago. Two of my favorite catalogs I got when I was a kid (lets you know how deep the watch addiction runs). One of them is an old Rolex catalog that's at least 30 plus years old...it has watches in it that were completely undesirable back in the day, but today are considered valuable classics...watches like the 1655 Explorer II, the 6263/6265 manual wind Daytonas, and the 1019 Milgauss. I also have an AP RO catalog from 1986/1987 which has some odd variations like the not very attractive rectangular RO (Seems that sort of style was a failure for all of the big three -PP had a very elongated version of the Nautiuls, and VC had a rectangular version of their 222 sport watch). Also have a PP catalog that's about 20 or so years old showing a few of their failures like the Neptune sports watch and the 1st Nautilus design on a strap which had roman numerals. Anyway, its always fun to see which watches have turned around and become sought after and which thankfully remain largely forgotten. Cheers!Yea, I didn't include the catalogs. Have plenty of those, too.
Have a couple more on my list that I want to pick up, soon.
My new two-tone Rolex Yacht-master in rose gold and steel with chocolate dial. I know it breaks all kinds of SF rules and might attract some hate, but it's my don't-give-a-damn watch, and I enjoy it. Wishing everyone a happy and restful holiday week.

I'm not usually a fan of steel and gold watches, or the Yatchmaster, but that is a really handsome watch! The chocolate dial is very cool!!!
