I like the green dial. Interesting description.I laughed at a comment I read on Hodinkee - “I was told that I had to buy a Code 11.59 to start a relationship. However, they didn’t have any Code 11.59 watches. At least I got a nespresso.”
That has been my experience.I thought the AP Boutique in NYC was supposed to be on the up and up, i.e. a true waitlist

I have the FOIS not the regular 42mm Speedy. It should fit just about any pre 3861 Speedmaster Pro with a closed caseback. Thanks, boo boo. And it fit your regular 42mm Speedy just fine? No issues in installation?
Roger that. I'm ordering one. Let's see if my watchmaker is skilled enough to make the switch.I have the FOIS not the regular 42mm Speedy. It should fit just about any pre 3861 Speedmaster Pro with a closed caseback.
There was a guy with an 861 Speedmaster who couldn't fit it because the caseback stripped the metal threading. I haven't seen any other stories of it not fitting.
15500 is a different beast than the 16202 - 15500 is also 41mm and 16202 replaces the iconic 15202 (which is the legendary Jumbo). 15202 has been retailoring at around 29k for a while and grey market is like 90k ever since its been announced it was discotiued and noew replaced by the 16202.I'm sure there is someone here who is well enough versed in AP...but is the only difference between the $25K RO 15500 and the $33K RO 16202 the 2.5mm difference in thickness? everything else looks exactly the same at a quick glance...
You can do it yourself if you request them to make the changing tool for you. It took me like a minute to do it myself.Roger that. I'm ordering one. Let's see if my watchmaker is skilled enough to make the switch.
No way. I can barely tie my own shoelaces, bro. Side effect of my Richemont disability. You can do it yourself if you request them to make the changing tool for you. It took me like a minute to do it myself.
